The Rainwater Management – Drainage Arrangement for Sore Points in Lahore project was initiated by WASA Lahore to address chronic urban flooding and drainage issues at key high-traffic and low-lying areas, including Kashmir Road, Gaddafi Stadium/Nishtar Sports Complex, Karim Park, Railway Station Park, Waris Road, and Cooper Road. Designed to improve stormwater conveyance and storage capacity across the city’s critical zones, the project sought to enhance urban resilience and minimize disruption during monsoon seasons.
